1. When and how did you discover Tori Amos?
In 1992, I saw this video on VH-1 of a redhead tumbling in a box with tinkly pianos. I didn't think much about it except, "hey this is kinda neat". Then one day, my boyfriend at the time took me to a store and said I could buy some used CDs. I picked up Little Earthquakes and thought, "hey isn't this that redhead in the box on VH-1?". The rest is history.

2. What's your favorite Tori Album?
Boys For Pele is my favorite hands down. It is my favorite album of all time and I truly believe it to be a masterpiece. My second favorite is Under The Pink.

3. Are you a complete crazed fanatic? The song database looks like a lot of time and work went into it.
Well I guess that's subjective. I do not think I'm a crazed fangirl at all. I simply always have projects going and this is one of them. I like to act upon what inspires me. I do NOT think Tori Amos is a goddess or my savior. I merely see her as an extraordinarily talented human being who has felt many things I have felt in my life and expresses it better than I do :)

4. Didn't I see you on some board or other saying bad things about TVAB, SLG, whatever?
It's possible. I was very disappointed in TVAB and SLG. I don't believe that respecting someone as an artist means you have to like everything they do. Artists who put their work out into the public are also offering it up for criticism.

5. How much Tori stuff do you own anyway?
Probably too much. I've lost track of the magazines, but at last count I owned 10 full length CDs and compilations, 29 CD singles, 8 record albums, 1 cassette single, 3 interview CDs, 2 videos, 10 promos, 4 posters, 8 books, 8 fanzines, 3 tour programs, 5 t-shirts, 41 magazines, 21 silver bootlegs and 68 shows on CD-R. This may seem like a lot, but some people have collections that make mine look like chicken feed ;)

6. What other music besides Tori do you like?
I like many other genres of music. My favorite stuff is usually gothic/EBM/synth-pop/industrial/darkwave. I also enjoy a lot of electronics and female singer-songwriters. Some of my favorite artists include Wolfsheim, Statemachine, Joy Division, The Cure, Depeche Mode, Siouxsie And The Banshees, Malign, Ruby, RMB, Hybrid, Sex Gang Children, Alien Sex Fiend, Battery, Skylash, Index, Bjork, Christian Death, Dead Can Dance, Delerium, Bauhaus, and many more.
